monochromatic madness

oooo i love unexpected things in monochrome.  i spotted this bike on the south side of milwaukee and was schooled by friends on facebook that it is a hauntingly beautiful ghost bike.  the blue boat by the very cool french artist xavier veilhan was auctioned off in monte carlo.  and last, nike's macaroon line of shoes in ripe raspberry.  delicious.

so starting today I am going to be posting some

of my personal inspiration boards with home trends for 2010.

yellow is going to be the number one color in 2010 representing

sunshine, happiness and leaving this recession in the dust!!!

these are two inspiration boards for an upcoming event

i am decorating for. the clients chose the first mood: winter wonderland.

inspired by icy winters, materials used will be white, clear and

irridescent.

the second mood board, chains, will be used for inspiration in decorating

my own space for the holidays.
