land of the free
textile company maharam's current print advertising features a digital project called "along banks of rivers high"by the brooklyn based artist brian alfred. the piece can be installed as wallpaper but is meant to be seen as a piece of art. i saw the piece in person at neocon and it was absolutely gorgeous, a mix of vivid greens in a geometric pattern inspired by the lay of the land.

by xavier veilhan
shown at the château de versailles
i would have given anything to see this show!
i adore the mix of contemporary minimalism
against the classical, decorative architecture.

i think i feel a trend coming on.
