we ride

i can't believe its taken me this long to comment
on my latest obsession: the nissan cube.
i have test driven one of the cult status vehicles
with its asymetrical back window and interior design package.
nissan has gone all out with the advertising
and i'm real surprised i don't see more of the cube.
above is the cube in a cube...of ice, that is.
tattoo artist henry hate branded the ice cube
with a traditional japanese design.

gimme some more
1 - steelcase by gensler chicago
3 - knoll by perkins + will
4 - francine turk
5 - interior investments by gensler
the event is headed by DIFFA,
Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS
to raise awareness and funds to fight AIDS.
almost 50 tables were at the Chicago event!
gotta tell somebody
designed by jason wu and giancarlo valle is out of this world.
this is my absolute favorite table of the event!
it had a sharp minimal feel with amazing detail.
they used sound proofing foam to line the interior
and created a custom lighting piece.
the tabletop was completely covered with
a collection of different bar glass.
absolutely stunning!!!!
